  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs of engineering equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service records using company CRM and maintenance management software.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to report field issues, performance trends, and product improvement feedback.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients during equipment operation and training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company quality protocols during all field activities.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with logistics for timely procurement and delivery.
  • Travel to client locations across Bangalore and surrounding regions as required, often on short notice.
  • Participate in continuous training and certification programs to stay updated on new technologies and product updates.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support within industrial or engineering environments.
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, control systems, or automation equipment.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and OSHA or ISO standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and service ticketing platforms.
