Job Description
Lead and supervise a team of paint maintenance technicians during assigned shifts, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety and quality standards. Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for paint application systems, spray booths, conveyors, and related equipment. Conduct daily shift briefings, assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide real-time feedback to ensure timely completion of maintenance work. Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues within paint systems, implementing effective solutions to minimize production downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, work orders, and equipment performance using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company safety regulations; conduct regular safety audits and enforce safe work practices. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to align maintenance schedules with production demands and project timelines. Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best maintenance practices. Report shift performance metrics, incident reports, and maintenance KPIs to senior management on a daily and weekly basis. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce failure rates, and optimize maintenance processes. Requirements: Requirements Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred); diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience is acceptable. 25 years of hands-on experience in maintenance supervision within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with specific focus on paint systems, spray booths, or coating processes. Proven leadership experience managing shift teams, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution. In-depth knowledge of paint application equipment, including high-volume low-pressure (HVLP) systems, robotic spray systems, and paint mixing systems. Proficiency in using CMMS for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and inventory tracking. Strong understanding of safety protocols, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and hazard communication (HAZCOM) standards. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure during shift operations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
