  • Analyze market quality data and customer feedback related to vehicle steering systems to identify recurring issues and root causes.
  • Lead cross-functional quality investigations and coordinate corrective action plans with engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement strategies to reduce defect rates and enhance product reliability.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics (e.g., field failure rates, warranty claims, NCRs) and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal manufacturing units to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Support the development of new steering system designs by providing quality input during the design validation and testing phases.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality incidents, resolutions, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other relevant automotive quality standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers, field service teams, and internal quality departments on quality-related concerns


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in automotive quality assurance, product quality, or field quality management, preferably in steering systems or powertrain components.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SPSS) and statistical process control (SPC).
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, PDCA).
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques and corrective action systems (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across departments.
  • Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.



Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred. 2–5 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, with demonstrable success in driving growth. Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing teams and leading end-to-end campaign execution. Strong expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content strategy. Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics platforms. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities. Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies. Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly desirable. Location: Bangalore, with flexibility for occasional travel as need
