Job Description

Develop detailed 3D models using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Fusion 360) for new product concepts and design iterations. Conduct design reviews and present concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine designs. Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production, including material selection and manufacturability analysis. Create technical drawings, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design intent clearly. Manage and maintain a centralized digital design library with version control and documentation. Participate in prototyping processes, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and physical testing. Stay updated with emerging design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to product development. Ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and sustainability practices. Requirements 25 years of proven experience in product modeling and design within a design, manufacturing, or consumer goods environment. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Fusion 360; experience with rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, V-Ray) is a plus. Strong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM), tolerancing, and assembly processes. Portfolio showcasing a range of product design projects, including concept development, modeling, and real-world applications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field. Experience with rapid prototyping and hands-on testing of physical models is highly desirable. Familiarity with design standards, CAD best practices, and file management systems.
