  • Develop detailed 3D models using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Fusion 360) for new product concepts and design iterations.
  • Conduct design reviews and present concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production, including material selection and manufacturability analysis.
  • Create technical drawings, renderings, and visualizations to communicate design intent clearly.
  • Manage and maintain a centralized digital design library with version control and documentation.
  • Participate in prototyping processes, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and physical testing.
  • Stay updated with emerging design trends, materials, and technologies relevant to product development.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.


Requirements


  • 2–5 years of proven experience in product modeling and design within a design, manufacturing, or consumer goods environment.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Fusion 360; experience with rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, V-Ray) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM), tolerancing, and assembly processes.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of product design projects, including concept development, modeling, and real-world applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and hands-on testing of physical models is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with design standards, CAD best practices, and file management systems.
