Inspection and verification of purchased products, castings, forgings, and machined components as per approved quality plans and codes. Duties include dimensional/NDT inspection, documentation, NCR handling, supplier audits, and customer coordination Perform detailed inspections and verifications of purchased products, including castings, forgings, and machined components, in alignment with approved quality plans and applicable industry codes. Conduct dimensional and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections to validate compliance with specifications. Maintain accurate and comprehensive inspection documentation, including reports, records, and traceability logs. Identify, document, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions. Support supplier quality audits and performance evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards. Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external customers to address quality concerns and ensure timely resolution. Requirements: Requirements Proven experience in quality inspection of mechanical components, including castings, forgings, and machined parts. Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods. Proficiency in quality documentation, NCR handling, and root cause analysis. Experience with supplier audits and quality performance monitoring. Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant quality standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO).
