Job Description
  • Lead and manage the execution of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works across assigned projects in Vadodara.
  • Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and accurate implementation of E&I systems.
  • Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and specifications related to E&I installations.
  • Supervise field activities, including cable laying, termination, testing, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ISA), company policies, and safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Manage E&I subcontractors, including performance evaluation, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to senior management.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize system performance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in E&I execution within industrial or process plant environments.
  • Proven experience in managing E&I projects from concept to commissioning, including design review, procurement, installation, and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (power distribution, motors, control panels) and instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, DCS/PLC systems).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs, single-line diagrams, loop diagrams).
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) and documentation systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) and a strong commitment to safety-first culture.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Vadodara and travel as required for project support.
