About the Role

Cogniter Technologies is looking for an experienced and motivated Software Engineer (.NET) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the complete software development lifecycle and the ability to design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. This role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET-based applications with end-to-end ownership

  • Work extensively with ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL Server, and other Microsoft technologies

  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum development processes while following coding and quality best practices

  • Handle multiple tasks and priorities while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and propose optimal technical solutions

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues

  • Communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure project success


    • Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development with full project lifecycle exposure

  • Strong expertise in ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL Server, and related Microsoft technologies

  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
