Research Analyst (Finance & Business)

Key Responsibilities

Industry Research & Analysis:

Read and analyse detailed industry reports to create clear, insightful in-house research reports.

Case Study Development:

Build structured, data-backed business case studies with storytelling and strategic insights.

DRHP/RHP Reading & IPO Review:

Analyse Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) / RHP documents and prepare comprehensive IPO review reports.

Market Awareness:

Stay updated with current market trends, business news, financial alerts, and sectoral developments.

Fact-Checking & Verification:

Maintain a strong eye for detail to cross-check facts, data points, and references from multiple sources.

Database Management:

Create, update, and maintain databases related to industries, companies, IPOs, and business trends.

Business Trend Interpretation:

Identify key shifts in industries, consumer behaviour, and macro trends to add depth to reports.

High-Speed Reading & Comprehension:

Ability to read and interpret 30–50 pages per hour, extract insights quickly, and summarise efficiently.

Research Methodology Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of research methodology, including the ability to judge whether a source is credible, biased, outdated, or unreliable, and select the best-quality data for reports.
