This role offers the opportunity to drive the design and development of next-generation elevator and vertical transportation systems, with a strong focus on innovation, safety, and code compliance. You will play a key role in advancing product performance while ensuring designs meet stringent regulatory and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Research, design, and develop elevator and vertical transportation systems and components
- Apply and interpret elevator codes and standards (CSA, ASME A17.1/CSA B44, local regulations) throughout the design process
- Create and review detailed mechanical designs, calculations, and technical documentation
- Lead and support prototyping, testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
