Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, well-organized Synthetic Organometallic Chemist with strong expertise in homogeneous catalysis and organic synthesis. The role involves the design, synthesis, optimization, and characterization of organometallic complexes for catalytic applications across pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and specialty chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and optimize the synthesis of organometallic complexes for catalytic applications
Conduct and optimize catalytic reactions using parallel reactors (HTS)
Monitor reactions using GC-MS, HPLC/MS, and high-resolution NMR
Perform isolation and purification of organometallic and organic compounds under inert conditions
Handle air-sensitive chemistry using Schlenk lines, glove boxes, inert filtration, recrystallization, etc.
Independently conduct literature and patent searches to support innovation
