Research Assistant

Position Summary

The Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Regina invites applications for an undergraduate Research Assistant (RA) position. The successful candidate will support faculty research in Finance. Position Requirements Conduct literature reviews on research topics related to corporate social responsibility, mergers and acquisitions, and data analytics applications in finance; Collect, clean, and organize financial and accounting data from specialized databases (Bloomberg, LSEG Refinitiv) using Python; Perform textual analysis and sentiment analysis on corporate disclosures, earnings calls, and social media data; Support quantitative analysis and data visualization for research projects; Support other research and teaching-related tasks in data analytics as needed
