Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Associate II for the departments of Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience at the New Jersey Medical School.

Under the direction of the PI, the Research Associate II will be responsible for the conduct of highly specialized and technical research. The individual will be primarily engaged in conducting experiments focused on identifying molecular mechanism underlying cerebrovascular deficits in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis, using biochemical methods, immunohistochemistry, fiberoptic spectroscopy, in vivo two photon microscopy and genetically modified mouse/rat models. The individual will be responsible for planning and executing experiments independently. The individual must be skilled in biochemical, molecular biology, cell biology and immunohistochemical techniques.
