Position Summary: “Exploring Pediatric Trainees’ Experiences Using AI-Supported Deliberate Practice to Improve Serious Illness Conversations with English-Speaking Families in Quebec”

This project explores how pediatric residents learn serious illness communication skills using an AI-based simulation platform that enables repeated deliberate practice. The study examines trainee experiences and analyzes communication skill development using AI-generated dialogue transcripts.

Role Overview

• Support platform case and AI dialogue development.
• Conduct research with minimal supervision following established protocols.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, scheduling, and documentation.
• Support qualitative data collection, coding, thematic analysis, and knowledge translation.
