Research Engineer

We are currently looking for a Research Engineer to join our Research and Development department based in Dunfermline. You will be responsible for applying research to pioneer prototypes, assessing the performance of prototypes and handing over prototypes into commercialisation.

The technical speciality requirements of the position are:

• Optics and imaging systems
• Digital systems
• Software systems
• Algorithms
• Mechanical engineering

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver well-documented designs and prototype implementations of technology demonstrators, known as technology assets, for retinal imaging both to product development and to clinical trials.
