Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics or a related field of science or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least four.
    years. 
  • Previous experience in a research setting or relevant coursework on Immunology or Cellular Biology.

    • Preferred

  • Interest in immunology and cancer.
  • Wet lab experience: Knowledge of general lab techniques and aseptic cell culture.
  • Experience with molecular biology, flow cytometry and microscopy.
  • Good communication, record keeping, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Familiarity with a programming language (Python preferred).

    Dr. Kennedy is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation and she is a member of the Masonic Cancer Center with research space within the Masonic Cancer Research Building. 


    Pay and Benefits

    Pay Range: $41,600 - $43,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience

    Time Appointment: 100% Appointment
