Research Scientist - Geospatial Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our MBRSC Lab, a research and development hub sponsored by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre. The selected candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Image Processing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Key Responsibilities:

• Support AI research projects by collecting and analyzing remote sensing data.
• Develop AI/ML models to analyze satellite imagery for image classification.
• Process Earth observation datasets including optical imagery

The ideal candidate should have a Master degree in GIS or related fields with proven programming skills in Python and machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch.
