Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Genetic Testing Industry)

1. Company Background

The client company is a genetic testing and research company based in the US. Leveraging artificial intelligence, we analyze customers’ genetic information to predict potential diseases and provide insights that help individuals make informed decisions about their health.

2. Role Background

We are seeking a motivated and professional Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of scientific knowledge, strong communication skills, and sales expertise. The SDR will be responsible for generating leads, managing the sales pipeline, conducting outreach, and guiding prospects through the sales cycle—from initial contact to deal closure.

The ideal candidate will speak good English, with experience in US genomics companies preferred but not required.

3. Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline through proactive outreach and consistent follow-ups.
  • Conduct sales meetings and presentations using the company’s training materials to explain products and services.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English (and Spanish when applicable), ensuring strong verbal and written communication.
  • Present professionally on video calls, maintaining an appropriate background, appearance, and demeanor.
  • Confidently learn and discuss genetics-related topics to engage effectively with clients.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to contract closure—handling deals ranging from $100,000 to $2 million.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and diligently follow up to move opportunities forward.
  • Conduct outreach via phone and email, as well as respond to inbound calls.
  • Participate in the hiring process by recording an application video and delivering a presentation using company training materials.

4. Qualifications

  • Advanced English proficiency: clear verbal communication, strong written skills, and the ability to present confidently (accent acceptable if communication is clear).
  • Previous sales experience, ideally in genetics, biotech, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track discussions, manage follow-ups, and prioritize effectively.

5. Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in US genomics companies.

6. Schedule

  • Full-time (40 hours/week): Monday to Friday - US hours.
  • Flexible working hours may be required based on client schedules across different time zones.

The Role

As a BDR – Restaurant Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new restaurant partners while gaining exposure to multiple parts of the business. You’ll work closely with our COO and cross-functional teams , contributing directly to our expansion strategy.

This role combines outbound sales, negotiation, relationship-building, and operational exposure — ideal for someone early in their career with strong commercial instincts.

What We’re Looking For

  • MBA required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record of closing and scaling partnerships with mid-to-large brands.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok’s ecosystem, including live streaming, influencer collaborations, and paid advertising.
  • Strong network in the Mexico retail, DTC, or digital advertising industries.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with international teams.

Background of biomedical education

Business Development Director

Responsible for leading and executing the regional sales and business development strategy across Latin America. Focuses on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities, building long-term strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability.

Responsabilities

  • Lead and define the regional business development and sales strategy to identify, evaluate, and secure multi-year contractual relationships with key customers.
  • Develop and negotiate complex logistics, warehousing, and supply chain solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen executive-level relationships with clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Solution Engineering, Finance, and Implementations to ensure commercial agreements are operationally viable and aligned with company strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development and sales leadership within the logistics 3PL sector, with proven regional exposure in LATAM.
  • Demonstrated experience in structuring and negotiating complex, multi-year commercial agreements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Advanced, fluent English (written and conversational) is required.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Availability and willingness to travel frequently within the LATAM region.
