We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. As a key member of our hospitality organization, you will be responsible for managing room reservations, maximizing revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

  • Plan and coordinate room reservations, utilizing effective selling techniques to optimize revenue
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue
  • Generate and analyze monthly reports, forecasts, and other relevant statistics
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Maintain accurate guest records and corporate databases
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Train and support team members in reservation procedures and safety protocols
  • Assist in developing occupancy forecasts for annual budgets
  • Monitor and update room availability to ensure accurate positioning of the hotel
  • Implement strategic overbooking practices when necessary
  • Apply discounts and corporate rates in accordance with company policies
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to reservation associates
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor practices to maintain a competitive edge

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel reservations or a similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in reservation management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret complex reports
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast occupancy and contribute to budgeting processes
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and revenue management principles
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Goal-oriented approach with a focus on achieving revenue targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred (not mandatory)
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
