The Role

PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne are currently looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Hotel Reservation Agent to join our team on a part-time basis.

The ideal candidate will assist guests with reservations, provide accurate information about our property and services, and ensure a smooth booking experience. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy hospitality, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Talent Profile

  • Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.

  • Accurately process bookings, cancellations, and modifications in the reservation system.

  • Provide guests with information about room types, rates, packages, and hotel amenities.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, seasonal offers, and hotel policies.

  • Ensure all guest details are recorded correctly and confidentially.

  • Collaborate with front desk and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Ideally, the Successful Candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems (training provided).

  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.

  • Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.

  • Knowledge of Opera Property Management System (PMS)

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service

This role will include weekends and public holidays.
