Reservations Agent

Join us as a Reservations Agent at Maroma, a Belmond Hotel. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests looking to book their unforgettable experiences. Your responsibility will be to manage reservations efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. You will engage with guests over the phone and ensure they receive accurate information regarding rates and availability, all while showcasing the unique offerings of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing reservations and ensuring all guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
• Maintaining detailed records of bookings and ensuring data accuracy.
• Promoting special packages and upselling additional services when appropriate.
• Responding to reservation inquiries via phone and email in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collaborating with other hotel departments to provide excellent guest service and follow up on special requests.
• Assisting in preparing reports and analyzing booking trends to maximize occupancy.
• Staying informed about the hotel’s policies, services, and amenities.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in using reservation systems and general computer applications.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
