Resident Technical Officer/RE

The Role:

• Oversee site works to ensure compliance with structural and civil engineering design, codes, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with Professional Engineers (PEs), consultants, contractors, and relevant agencies to resolve design or construction issues.
• Review and verify technical submissions such as shop drawings, method statements, and material proposals.
• Monitor progress and quality of works, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure safety standards are upheld.
• Prepare and issue inspection reports, non-compliance reports, and follow-up actions.
• Support authority submissions and documentation required for BCA, PUB, NEA, LTA, and other statutory clearances.
• Track project timelines, manage contractor requests for information (RFI), and escalate issues promptly to the project team.
• Ensure that works are carried out efficiently, safely, and within specified quality standards.
