Resource-Production - Logistics services

• Consolidate orders from entire Export Marketing and submit to plant for planning of material and production as per order
• Coordinate with manufacturing team and ensure production and dispatch of bikes as per the agreed production plan and vessel gate opening schedule
• Manage the Issuance of proforma invoice/ release of VIN no’s as per order received to ensure timely payment to make the shipment
• Ensuring on time dispatches by packing desired qty and models
• Monitor timely placement of container bookings with nominated freight forwarders to ensure the timely availability of containers and dispatches in the planned vessel
• Place bookings as per readiness of bikes (Country wise) ensuring timely availability of containers to ensure on time dispatches
• Enhancement of per day packing output by upgrading existing manual conveyor and installation to auto conveyor to achieve packing volume of 6 K /month at Vallam plant
• Ensure packing of bikes as per shipment plan and movement for container stuffing as per gate opening /cutoff
• Ensure timely availability of all the packing material and on time scheduling of all the packing material as per production plan
• Initiate containers booking as per the bikes readiness and shipment plan to connect to designated vessel within one working day from the date of shipment plan
• Notify/ send pre alert to distributors and dispatch post shipment documents to distributors / Finance after sailing the vessel to ensure timely reach of documents
• Coordinate with Liner/ agent/ distributors to ensure tentative vessel availability for the shipments
• Oversee the preparation and dispatch of invoices and shipping documentation ensuring no demurrages are incurred, error-free documentation, reduced document preparation time and on-time communication of shipping details to customers
