Resource Teacher, Math- Martin Boulevard ELEM-Part-time (0.5 FTEs)

DEFINITION

: The primary role of the school-based resource teacher is to provide in-house expertise, service, and support in curriculum implementation for elementary/middle school. Provides a variety of services to include professional development, data analysis, and planning for instruction to support the academic programs. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

Works collaboratively with the school-based leadership team to analyze data in order to support academic programs.

Assists teachers with the implementation of the instructional programs and assists teachers in developing their understanding of content.

Works collaboratively with teachers to co-plan, co-teach and model customized lessons based on formative assessment data.

Provides specific, targeted teacher/team support based on School Progress Plans and direction from school administrator.
