Job Description
The Facility Manages is responsible for facility management of one or more office locations or sites, managing the day-to-day operations of a variety of office services to ensure that the organisation's current and future facilities and administrative needs are met efficiently, reliably, and economically.
These activities may include: building and maintenance services, cafeteria and recreation services, facilities management, fleet management, cleaning, gardening, reception and communication systems (such as telephone systems, etc.), copier services, office supplies, equipment and inventory management, administrative assistance, mail, distribution and messenger services, archives management.
The Facility Manager role typically only exists at bigger office locations and sites. The role may cover a single location, or be responsible for a number of offices / sites.
