Restoration Technician

Job Overview: Our restoration client in Durango, CO is seeking to add a Restoration Technician to their team. The Restoration Technician oversees all aspects of assigned restoration projects and crews. This front-line leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and efficient project delivery while managing labor, equipment, and subcontractors.

This is a Direct Hire role.


What you will be doing as a Restoration Technician …
  • Develop accurate scopes of work and prepare statements of work using industry-specific estimating software.
  • Communicate and negotiate with customers, clients, and insurance representatives to gain approval for restoration activities.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise crews, subcontractors, and assets on active projects.
  • Review job site documentation to verify compliance with client requirements and support billing processes.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage production expenses, including labor, vehicles, equipment, and other resources.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Provide priority response to potential customers as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, and train restoration teammates to build a high-performing team.
  • Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Restoration Technician …
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 1 year of management and/or supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of restoration industry experience.
  • IICRC certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and navigate confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics, etc.).
  • Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry heavy objects of at least 50 lbs up to 100lbs with assistance.
  • Comfortable working with and around cleaning agents and restoration chemicals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
