Within Direct-To-Consumer Merchandising department, Retail Allocator Intern will assist with the stock analysis and management for retail and outlet stores for all European countries and all product categories. The team overall objective is to meet financial and merchandising results at store, business unit and channel level. Duties include merchandising analysis, initial purchase order upload and allocation, maintenance of warehouse back stock, transfers management and reorders to ensure proper merchandise assortment by door, both existing and new, and maximize sales and optimize inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with purchasing orders from initial allocation through end of life cycle of merchandise, including replenishment and consolidation of goods to other stores or channels.Assist with product assortment presentation to give visibility to the overall retail team (stores, retail manager and VMs) about new assortment to arrive to storesAssist with monitoring flow of initial assortments as well as reorders to stores by classification, delivery/group and by style whenever necessary.Delivery tracking of goods in transit to the stores and communicates with stores accordingly.Be aware and highlight any shipping issues that may affect business and be the point of contact for resolution.Support the team with analysis to recap situation at store level and create best seller/insight reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.Qualifications and Competencies
Preparation of an university degree or equivalent in business economy, engineering, statistic, mathematic. Only curricular interns will be considered. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, above all ExcelStrong numerical and analytical skills as well as KPI knowledgeHumble and eager to learnStrong problem-solving and pragmatic approachFluent in English.
