Job Title: Interior Designer

Role Overview

The Interior Designer – NSO will support the design team in developing innovative, brand-aligned retail and experience Centre designs. The role involves conceptual design development, technical documentation, and cross-functional coordination to deliver functional, user-centric, and visually compelling spaces.

Key Responsibilities-

Design Development & Conceptualization

• Assist in developing conceptual designs, mood boards, and interior styling for experience center's.
• Create 2D detailed drawings and 3D visualizations using tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Support the design team in translating brand identity and client briefs into compelling spatial concepts.

Technical Drawings & Documentation

• Collaborate with the team to produce accurate technical drawings, renderings, and material specifications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and presentation decks for design approvals.
• Ensure drawings and specifications adhere to design standards and execution requirements.

Research & Space Planning

• Conduct material research and space planning to ensure designs are functional, sustainable, and user-centric.
• Evaluate materials, finishes, and fixtures with a focus on durability, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Design Coordination & Reviews

• Participate in brainstorming sessions, prototyping, and iterative design reviews to refine experiential elements such as lighting, fixtures, signage, and interactive installations.
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and align designs accordingly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, product development, and execution teams to ensure smooth design handover and on-ground feasibility.
• Support the execution team during implementation to address design-related clarifications.

Trend & Industry Awareness

• Stay updated on the latest design trends, sustainable practices, and emerging technologies in retail and experience center design.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (knowledge of rendering tools is an added advantage).
• Strong understanding of space planning, materials, and detailing.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Exposure to retail, showroom, or experience center design projects.
• Eye for detail and strong aesthetic sensibility.
