Job Title: Retail Trainer – Foxtale

Function: Learning & Development (Offline Retail)

Location: Bangalore / Kerala

Reporting To: L&D; / Training Head

Role Purpose

The Retail Trainer will be responsible for training, upskilling, and grooming Beauty Advisors (BAs),

BDEs, and retail staff to ensure strong product knowledge, excellent customer interaction, and

improved sales performance for Foxtale in offline retail channels.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Sales Training

• Conduct product knowledge training on Foxtale skincare, body care, and new launches

• Train BAs on USPs, hero ingredients, and correct product recommendations

• Deliver sales pitch, objection handling, cross-selling & upselling training

Grooming & Soft Skills

• Train on personal grooming, hygiene, and communication skills

• Coach on customer consultation and closing techniques

Field Training & Store Visits

• Conduct on-counter training and refresher sessions

• Travel for store visits, audits, and on-the-job coaching

• Support low-performing counters with corrective training

BA Performance & Evaluation

• Evaluate BA performance through role plays and live observation

• Share feedback and improvement plans with the sales team

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Sales, HR, and L&D; teams

• Maintain training reports and visit feedback

• Support new store openings and BA onboarding

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years as a Retail Trainer (Beauty/Skincare preferred)

Skills: Strong skincare knowledge, presentation skills, and retail exposure

Languages: Fluent in English & Hindi; regional language mandatory
