Role Overview

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Retail / Commerce Functional Consultant to join our Bangalore team and support global enterprise and mid-market clients. This role is hands-on, client-facing, and delivery-oriented, working closely with solution architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) solutions across POS, pricing, promotions, inventory, and omnichannel scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Delivery & Solution Design

  • Lead functional analysis and solution design for Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail
  • Configure and implement:
  • POS (Store Commerce)
  • Pricing, discounts, promotions
  • Assortments, catalogs, and channels
  • Inventory, fulfillment, and omnichannel scenarios
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations
  • Support Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), UAT, and go-live readiness

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work directly with client business users (Retail Ops, Finance, IT)
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions
  • Act as a functional advisor, not just a configurator

Integration & Cross-Module Collaboration

  • Collaborate with F&O consultants on:
  • Financial postings
  • Inventory and supply chain flows
  • Work with technical teams on integrations with:
  • Payment providers
  • E-commerce platforms
  • Third-party POS or OMS systems

Support & Optimization

  • Provide post-go-live support and optimization
  • Assist with issue triage, root-cause analysis, and functional fixes
  • Contribute to best practices, templates, and AVS delivery standards

Required Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail / Commerce
  • Strong functional knowledge of:
  • POS operations
  • Retail pricing and promotions
  • Inventory and fulfillment flows
  • Experience with at least one end-to-end D365 Commerce implementation
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
  • Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance or Supply Chain
  • Exposure to omnichannel retail or e-commerce integrations
  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications (Commerce / F&O)
  • Experience working with global clients (US/EU)
