After a highly successful startup in Vietnam, VinFast has entered the European market. A European marketing, sales, and distribution entity has been established to sell VinFast products. The initial target markets are Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Corporate offices and showrooms have been established in the three countries, and we are currently looking for 2 Retail/Trade Managers based in France and in Germany.

MISSION OF THIS POSITION:

• Development and execution on regional and retail levels of trade and dealers marketing strategy.
• Support implementation and ensure control of dealers’ marketing annual and quarterly plans.
• Preparing, coordination and implementation of workshops, meetings and training sessions with dealers.
• Supporting and steering dealers’ marketing managers to ensure delivery of regional marketing and business plans.
• Present strategies and plans to regional marketing management.
• Motivate dealers marketing activities at the highest level by using of financial (COOP program) and non-financial means


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

• Develop, manage, implement, and control the regional dealers marketing strategies and plans to achieve sales and marketing targets.
• Ensure marketing plans are consistent with OEM strategies and plans, and fully utilize OEM resources and materials.
• Support development and execution of quarterly and annual marketing budgets of each dealer.
• Plans and oversees the dealers advertising and promotional activities, including print, radio, digital, and direct mail. 
• Plans and oversees the execution of all digital marketing initiatives at retail level, including websites, SEO/SEA, CRM, social media marketing.
• Keeping track of the latest trends, new platforms, and technologies in the retail automotive advertising space, sharing this with dealers.
• Ensure dealership adherence to CO-OP program criteria. Monitors budget allocation and efficient spending.
• Support dealers with CI/CD exterior and interior guidelines and materials, as well with creative materials for different media, POSm and merchandising.
• Maintains good relations and works closely with the dealers’ general, sales and marketing managers to develop launches, promotional campaigns and events.
• Prepares retail marketing reports and presents them to regional marketing director and global marketing team.
• Establishes close collaboration with other regional teams, especially with regional sales and after-sales managers.
• Develop dealer marketing management (DMM) system in cooperation with relevant agencies.
• Develops and implements marketing workshops, trainings and meetings for dealers, together with colleagues from sales and after-sales teams.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Deep knowledge of trade marketing, dealers advertising and events management.
• Good knowledge of automotive market.
• Strong experience in marketing and trade marketing strategy and plans development, and efficient execution measured by business and marketing KPIs.
• Very good understanding of dealer marketing management systems (DMM).
• Experience with managing teams and employee steering, development, supervision and motivation.
• Confident networking, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Motivated. Hard working. Open to challenges. Fast learning and flexible.
• Superior command of English (both written and oral). Knowledge of one or several key European language(s).
• Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Available to travel extensively throughout the region.
• University degree in marketing or business administration.
• Experience in similar position at OEM side - 3-5 years, work experience at dealers’ side is a plus.
