Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Accounting:
- Oversee end-to-end revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP standards.
- Manage revenue recognition for multiple streams (subscription, services, product sales) in line with contractual terms.
- Review and validate journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Ensure accurate reporting of deferred revenue, accruals, and adjustments.
- Collaborate with auditors for statutory and internal audits related to revenue.
Revenue Management:
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize profitability.
- Monitor pricing models, discount structures, and contract terms to ensure revenue integrity.
- Analyze revenue trends and provide insights for forecasting and budgeting.
- Partner with sales, finance, and operations teams to align revenue goals with business objectives.
- Drive automation and process improvements in revenue management systems.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition standards (Ind AS 115 / ASC 606).
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and revenue management tools.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to lead a team and manage cross-functional projects.
Qualifications:
- CA / CPA / Masters Finance preferred.
- 4+ years of experience into revenue accounting and revenue management.
- Exposure to technology, BFSI, or service-based industries is an advantage.
