RF Electrical Engineering Intern – Diode Product Engineering

Role Overview:

As a member of the Engineering
team, the RF Electrical Engineering Intern will work
alongside experienced Engineers and Senior level technicians to characterize
new products as part of our NPI process flow. These evaluations serve as opportunities
to learn the theoretical and practical approach to performing DC and RF
measurements. These measurements include, but are not limited to,
S-Parameters, DC and/RF pulse power, IP3, IP2, P1dB, harmonics, thermal
imaging, and switching speed. The intern will operate and perform test set-ups using
spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, peak power analyzers, oscilloscopes,
signal generators, pulse generators, power supplies, power meters, SMU’s, and
multi-meters. Along with learning test
techniques and the use of test equipment, the intern will learn about MACOM’s
products and their operation.
