Risk Analyst

Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Risk Analyst - GSOC Analyst in the Corporate Strategy team for an initial 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and conversion. This role is 1-2 days a week in the office in Toronto.

Responsibilities :

• Monitors data from various sources to identify threats and evaluate opportunities around the world.
• Provides reports to the relevant Corporate Security Teams and partners.
• Evaluates and diagnoses situations, applies critical thinking, and coordinates with other team members as required.
• Monitors global events in real time for general awareness and issues that could impact operations.
• Conducts incisive analysis and forecasting on geopolitical and security issues, monitors country threat ratings, and draws from multiple intelligence sources to plan operations in confidence.
