Responsibilities
:
The Psych Nurse (RN) will:
Evaluating patients' mental health status through interviews, observations, and psychological testing Collaborating with Psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to diagnose mental health conditions based on assessments Developing individualized care plans that outline treatment goals and interventions Safely administering psychiatric medications, monitoring for side effects, and educating patients about their medications Providing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and crisis intervention Teaching patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 1+ year of Behavioral Health / Psych Nursing experience Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing ...
