RN CVOR Job Description RN CVOR Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes pre-operative assessment, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative care. The RN CVOR works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Schedule is 6:30a-3p, M-Fri, a week of call every third week Key Responsibilities Assesses patients' health status prior to surgery, including reviewing medical history, allergies, and medications. Develops and implements individualized care plans for patients undergoing CVOR procedures. Monitors patients' vital signs and hemodynamic status during surgery.
