**Position Details:**
+ **Location:** BayCare Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, 5329 Primrose Lake Circle, Tampa, FL 33647
+ **Status:** PRN
+ **Shift:** Variable, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
+ **On Call:** No
+ Always in person
**The procedural RN responsibilities include:**
+ RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
+ RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
+ RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
+ RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
For this position, we prefer at least 18 months of acute care experience with 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PreOp and PACU, or Critical Care. This is a PRN position that will be focused on PreOp and PACU. PreOp and PACU experience is strongly preferred.
**Certifications and Licensures:**
+ BLS (Basic Life Support)
+ RN (Registered Nurse)
+ ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
+ Preferred Nurse Specialty
**Education:**
+ Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
+ Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
**Experience:**
+ Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
+ Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
