RN SIMULATION COORDINATOR

Summary

Job Description: The primary responsibilities of this position include all of the following: clinical teaching at both PCS staff, coordination of simulation activities, oversight of other staff in the lab, support of inter-professional staff, and continued scholarship in the field. Additional responsibilities may include involvement in off-campus, evening, or weekend duties. Requirements: Hospital teaching experience, or equivalent in education and experience combined. Expertise in medical-surgical nursing (or and high-fidelity simulation. Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Simulation Certification required after 3 years. MBON licensure required, and AHA BLS required. AHA-PALS Instructor, AHA-ACLS Instructor required within 1 year. AHA BLS Instructor required within 6 months of hire.
