ACLS (RN only), NIH (RN only), BLS (all) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Cardiac/Telemetry experience and/or surgical experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Post-op recovery of patients (surgical and from cath lab) Best personality Fit: Friendly, outgoing personality Multi-tasking-unit can have high patient turnover (occasional high discharge/admit days) Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Brand new state of the art unit, ADA/bari rooms within room hoyer lifts (x3), great unit culture with excellent teamwork and collaboration, wide range of nursing experience. Variety of patient population (elective ortho, spine, GYN surgeries), elective cath lab procedures (post PCI, post pacemaker, ablation, cardioversion, re-vascularization patients), stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, respiratory failure, set rate for cardiac drips (non-titrating except heparin) etc. Modified self-scheduling process, schedules post 3 weeks in advance leaving plenty of time for finding trades for any scheduling issues General Comments No. of Positions: 1/1.
