Road / Highway / Railway Design Engineer - İstanbul (Merter), Ankara

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Road / Highway / Railway Design Engineer to join our Ankara or Istanbul office.
You will take part in the design and coordination of national and international transportation projects, working within a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and BIM specialists.

As a Road / Highway / Railway Design Engineer at ARX, you will:

• Develop and review road, railway and highway geometric designs (horizontal & vertical alignments, cross-sections, typical details).
• Prepare and check drawings, design reports, and BOQs in accordance with international and local standards.
• Collaborate with structural, drainage, traffic, and BIM teams to ensure fully coordinated project delivery.
• Participate in design review, quality control, and technical meetings with clients and partners.
• Support tender documentation and contribute to project planning and implementation.

We're looking for:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in road/highway design or transportation infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks, or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of Revit for coordination purposes will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, DMR, or local geometric design standards.
• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
