Position Overview

1Global is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Roaming IREG Engineer to manage the entire roaming process and procedures. As an IREG Engineer you will be responsible for the technical setup, testing, and maintenance of international roaming and interconnect services. We're looking for a proactive individual with a strong technical foundation, adept at troubleshooting support cases and enhancing operational processes for seamless footprint updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and document IREG tests (IR.24, IR.35, IR.50, etc.) for voice, SMS, and data services, in line with GSMA standards
  • Set up and verify interconnect links for voice and messaging services with partner operators
  • Monitor roaming service KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with roaming agreements
  • Configure and test SS7, Diameter, SIP, and related signaling protocols for international connectivity
