Job Description

Job Purpose

To train and mentor student teams competing in RoboCup Junior (RCJ) disciplines including Rescue Line, Maze, Soccer, and OnStage. The instructor will provide hands‑on training in robot programming, sensor calibration, strategy development, and mock competition simulation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver technical workshops on robotics systems (Arduino, EV3, Raspberry Pi).
  • Coach students on robot design, autonomous navigation, and debugging.
  • Facilitate mock competition scenarios aligned with RoboCup formats.
  • Support teams with strategy documentation and compliance with competition rules.
  • Provide feedback and mentorship during bootcamp and pre‑competition intensives.
  • Develop supporting materials (slides, code samples, troubleshooting guides).
