ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Perform daily pre-start checks according to site controls and code of practice
  • Understand various pieces of robotic equipment, ensuring they are running at peak performance
  • Robot programming and all troubleshooting
  • Perform all touch point functions involved in operation of robotic welder
  • Positions and secures work pieces using proper equipment
  • Fully satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale
  • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Leader
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards
  • Monitor products to ensure they meet customer specifications, taking corrective action when necessary

  • Robotic welding experience or knowledge within a manufacturing sector
  • Strong understanding of robot control interface with ancillary equipment
