Role Overview:

We are seeking a Robotics Physical AI Engineer to build intelligent, embodied AI systems that operate in the physical world. This role focuses on enabling robots to perceive, reason, learn, and act autonomously in dynamic real-world environments.

The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of AI/ML, robotics, perception, planning, and control, contributing to next-generation robotic systems that go beyond rule-based automation toward adaptive, learning-driven autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Physical AI systems for robotics
  • Build and train machine learning and deep learning models for robotic perception and decision-making
  • Implement vision, sensor fusion, and state estimation pipelines
  • Develop motion planning, manipulation, and control algorithms
  • Integrate AI models with robotic platforms using ROS / ROS2
  • Use simulation and digital twins to train, test, and validate robotic behaviors
  • Deploy AI models to real-world robotic hardware with real-time constraints
  • Optimize performance for latency, reliability, safety, and robustness
  • Conduct on-robot testing, debugging, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems teams
Required Skills & Qualifications Core Technical Skills
  • Strong background in Machine Learning / Deep Learning
  • Hands-on experience with robotics systems
  • Proficiency in Python and C++
  • Experience with ROS / ROS2
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Computer Vision
  • Sensor fusion (camera, LiDAR, depth sensors, IMU)
  • Localization and mapping (SLAM)
  • Motion planning and control
  • Reinforcement Learning or imitation learning
Robotics Platforms & Tools
  • Robotic systems: mobile robots, manipulators, humanoids, warehouse robots
  • Simulation tools: Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Mujoco, Unity
  • Hardware: embedded systems, edge AI platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson)
  • Operating systems: Linux (real-time systems a plus)
