The Tier 1 robotics technician supervisor is expected to be a generalist, with multi-disciplinary skills and knowledge including electrical and mechanical equipment assessment.

Job Duties:

• Comply with CBRE and Client quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.

• Verification that appropriate inspections are occurring at each site and are sufficiently documented. Develop work methods to identify and replace worn, damaged, or non-functional equipment.

• Assist Tier 1 first responders during triage of robotics and automation operational issues, adding to the Tier 2 “playbook” documentation as new issues are identified and solved.

• Monitor SLOs and ensure that teams are responding in a timely and appropriate manner.

• Manage PTO and coverage logistics for direct reports

• Assist (as needed) with Preventative and Predictive maintenance and calibrations of existing equipment of the systems per well-defined schedules and procedures in place at the time the contract is initiated. Verify appropriate documentation.

• Assist with planning and execution of deployments, retrofit efforts, and creation/distribution of informational documents and procedures to the Tier 1 team.

• Provide higher level mechanical and control system technical support and troubleshooting for existing automated equipment.

• Act as the site SME (subject-matter expert) on all automation equipment.

• Direct setup and SAT of new equipment

• Update System Delivery Tracker

• Facilitate moving materials and equipment for automation

• Consistently review issues and issue resolution within the Client’s system (Buganizer, EAM)

• Lead in continuous improvement efforts, corrective action formulation, and root-cause investigations.

• Attend meetings as requested by Manager. The Supervisor will be the direct interface with Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams on behalf of CBRE.

• Input metrics and analysis to monthly and quarterly CBRE dashboards and placemats.

• Complete training requirements as communicated by CBRE and Manager.

• Maintain certifications required to perform maintenance and sustainability efforts as directed by Manager, and monitor completion by Technicians I and II

• Complete CBRE/Manager-assigned administrative tasks in an expeditious and conscientious manner - review/approve timesheets, PTO requests, expenses, etc.

• Mentor other Technicians

• Experience with direct reports. One-on-ones, coaching, mentoring, corrective action, evaluating, and developing year-end reviews.

• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

• Proficient use of specialized tools, DMM, CMMS, and software-based tools.

• Ability to understand and communicate technical information.

• Expertise with networking, PLCs and HMIs, drives, motors, controllers, power supplies, cameras and vision systems, servos and encoders
