<p>Role Overview:<br/><br/>The Finance & Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing monthly financial operations, statutory compliance, and group reporting activities.<br/><br/> This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Monthly Financial Operations<br/><br/>- Prepare and issue SaaS invoicing at the beginning/end of each month.<br/><br/>- Execute internal trade postings month basis.<br/><br/>- Perform work cost transfers.<br/><br/>- Manage cost reservations and periodization of purchase/expense invoice.<br/><br/>- Process OTI, Boosters, and Allocation of costs.<br/><br/>- Perform sales and purchase invoice checks in ERP system.<br/><br/>- Review overdue reports and Accounts Payable.<br/><br/>Compliance & Regulatory Filings<br/><br/>- File MSME-1 returns for each half year.<br/><br/>- Prepare and submit PAS-6 to Company Secretary.<br/><br/>- Handle statutory filings like PTEC, Import-Export Code, and DIR/KYC compliances.<br/><br/>- Prepare and submit company secretarial documents - MBP-1, DIR-8, DPT-3, AOC-4, MGT-7, ADT-1 - in coordination with the CS team.<br/><br/>- Coordinate and review annual filings such as GSTR-9, 9C, LUT, and RBI-FLA Return.<br/><br/>Taxation & Payroll<br/><br/>- Compute and file TDS, PF, ESIC, PTRC within respective due dates.<br/><br/>- Review and file GST returns (GSTR-1, 2A/2B, 3B).<br/><br/>- Review and process NPS and payroll-related payments.<br/><br/>- Coordinate tax audit and income tax return filing with external consultants.<br/><br/>- Support transfer pricing documentation and data submission.<br/><br/>Reporting & Audit<br/><br/>- Month-end closing and review of India books.<br/><br/>- Group consolidation reporting and IC reconciliation with group entities.<br/><br/>- Issue service invoices and prepare actual vs forecast financial numbers for India.<br/><br/>- Manage statutory audit process including data preparation and liaison with auditors.<br/><br/>- Prepare minutes and reports for AGM and Director's Report.<br/><br/>Other Responsibilities<br/><br/>- Manage gratuity valuation and insurance renewals (medical, term, office & general).<br/><br/>- Support dematerialization process.<br/><br/>- Handle any other compliance or reporting requirements as assigned by management.<br/><br/>- Liaise with auditors and consultants for M&A-related audits and tax implications.<br/><br/>Qualifications & Skills:<br/><br/>- Education: Chartered Accountant.<br/><br/>- Skills: <br/><br/>o Strong knowledge of Indian statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESIC).<br/><br/>o Familiarity with corporate secretarial filings and audit processes.<br/><br/>o Proficiency in accounting software (Additional Advantage: Visma, Omalean).<br/><br/>o Excellent analytical and communication skills.<br/><br/>o Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.<br/><br/>o Ability to work in a global environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams<br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
