Roll Tender - Mitchell

Position Summary

The Roller Tender supports the printing and packaging team by preparing materials and assisting press operators to keep production running smoothly. This is an entry-level role with on-the-job training provided on the day shift before moving to the overnight shift.

Primary Shift

Overnight shift: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Training shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

Set up and stage materials for printing and packaging equipment

Assist press and converting operators during production runs

Help with basic machine adjustments, testing, and changeovers (training provided)

Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards

Communicate any production or quality issues to the operator or supervisor

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other general production duties as assigned
