Majestic Hotels & Apartments is a boutique collection of hotels and apartments renowned for creating unforgettable guest experiences through heartfelt service, meticulous standards, and passionate hospitality.

We are seeking a hands‑on Rooms Division Manager to provide strong on‑site leadership, overseeing Front Office and Housekeeping operations at multi‑site locations, including Majestic Old Lion Apartments, Tynte Street Apartments and the Majestic Minima Hotel.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Hotel Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day performance, presentation, and service delivery of the Rooms Division. This visible leadership role demands operational excellence, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for exceptional guest experiences. You will directly lead the Executive Housekeeper and Front Office Duty Managers, working closely with Maintenance to ensure the hotel is safe, functional, and impeccably presented.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Front Office and Housekeeping operations, ensuring smooth, high‑quality service
  • Provide operational oversight of Front Office and Housekeeping procedures and SOPs, ensuring standards are understood and consistently followed
  • Act as the senior manager on site, making key decisions and resolving issues
  • Manage rosters, wage costs, and departmental efficiency
  • Maintain presentation standards across rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces
  • Drive guest satisfaction through service excellence and proactive issue resolution
  • Monitor performance, feedback, and financial outcomes to improve operations
  • Coach and inspire your team, fostering a positive, accountable culture

About You

  • Experienced hotel leader with a background in Rooms Division, Operations, or similar senior roles
  • Strong operational knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping
  • Skilled in rostering, budget management, and cost control
  • Exceptional guest focus and ability to handle escalations calmly
  • Knowledgeable in WHS and hotel compliance
  • Confident, proactive, and hands‑on with strong leadership skills
  • Hospitality or Hotel Management qualification is desirable
