A Snapshot of Your Day

You will work with the ROP India team, which is leading the development of a next-generation wind turbine aerodynamic performance analysis framework. Your role will focus on advancing this framework by exploring and applying technical practices in wind turbine aerodynamics, integrating them into the tool, and helping clarify the framework’s intent through documentation and GUI improvements. You will also be among the first users to test the framework with each update, gaining hands-on exposure to large-scale wind turbine analysis and industry-grade engineering tools.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Support the development of a next-generation wind turbine aerodynamic performance analysis framework.
  • Explore technical practices in wind turbine aerodynamics and integrate them into the existing framework.
  • Assist in clarifying the framework’s intent through structured documentation and GUI-related inputs.
  • Act as an early tester for each framework update, identifying issues and validating functionality.
  • Participate in essential training on analysing large-scale wind turbines and building dedicated toolsets for aerodynamic analysis.
  • What You Bring 

  • An undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD qualification in engineering, or status as a student or recent graduate from a reputed university.
  • Availability and willingness to work from the Bangalore office for a minimum duration of 3 months.
  • Proficiency in, or strong willingness to upskill in, aerodynamics and industry-grade programming using Python.
  • Exposure to or familiarity with MATLAB and LaTeX, which are considered a plus
