Job Title: Senior RTL Design Engineer


Location: Bangalore

Notice Period: 30 Days (Immediate to short notice preferred)


Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior RTL Design Engineer with strong expertise in microarchitecture definition and RTL development . The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing state-of-the-art automotive camera and display solutions , working closely with software and verification teams to deliver high-quality, safety-compliant silicon.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define microarchitecture and implement RTL designs optimized for performance, power, and area (PPA)
  • Translate system and design requirements into robust hardware microarchitecture
  • Define and implement HW–SW interfaces , configuration registers, and control logic
  • Collaborate with software teams to support firmware integration and system bring-up
  • Work closely with verification teams on assertions, test planning, debug, and coverage closure
  • Support design reviews, RTL quality checks, and debug of complex design issues
  • Ensure designs follow ASIC design methodologies and best practices


Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Graduate / Post Graduate / PhD in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related discipline


Experience

  • 5–13 years of hands-on experience in microarchitecture and RTL design
  • Proven experience developing RTL from high-level design requirements


Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Verilog / SystemVerilog
  • Excellent understanding of ASIC design methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of high-speed interface protocols, including:
  • MIPI CSI / DSI
  • ASA (Automotive SerDes Alliance)
  • Ethernet
  • PCIe
  • USB
  • Experience designing IP blocks for video and audio processing
  • Exposure to high-speed, pipelined, and low-power designs
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools and design flows

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and design quality
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Added Advantage

  • Experience with automotive functional safety–compliant designs (ISO 26262)
